How our solar panel and battery installation process works
Get your guide price
After answering some questions about your home, we’ll provide you with an estimated price. We’ll then ask a few more details so we can complete your detailed solar quote, making sure this is the optimal package for your home.
Home visit
Once we receive your deposit, we'll then arrange a home visit to carry out a pre-installation survey. This is when we’ll finalise access and scaffolding and confirm everything meets the required specification.
Your solar installation
Our trusted installer will put up brackets and rails before fitting the solar panels. They will then fit the inverter and connect it to your panels. Finally, they will help choose the best place for your battery (if chosen).
Connecting your solar system
Once we’ve installed your solar panels and battery, we’ll connect your system to the grid. This means you can start generating your own green electricity. Our installer will also show you how your solar system works.
How long does it take to install solar panels
This varies depending on the works required at your home. Typically, Solar PV and battery installations are completed in a day. However, if scaffolding is required it may be in place for an extra day or two.
Warranties for your peace of mind
Our standard solar installation comes with several warranties. You’ll get a 24-month workmanship warranty, a 25-year manufacturer product warranty on solar panels and you receive a 10-year warranty for the inverter.
Additionally, there is a 25-year power performance warranty, which guarantees a minimum level of performance each year. Terms and conditions apply. We’ll provide full details as part of your detailed solar proposal.
