Here’s how you can switch to ScottishPower in 3 simple steps:
Get a quote for your energy in minutes and choose from our range of tariffs.
We have a variety of tariffs available to suit our customers’ needs. For example, you may be able to enjoy cheaper overnight rates on our EV Saver tariff or sign up to our Help Beat Cancer tariffs and we’ll donate to Cancer Research UK on your behalf every month you’re on the tariff.
Once you’ve chosen a tariff and given us your details, we’ll send you a welcome pack with information about your new tariff, account and contract. You can also set up an online account where you can track the progress of your switch in the one place.
We’ll get in touch with your old supplier and let them know about the switch so you don’t have to. We’ll handle the details of your switchover and make sure there’s no disruption to your supply during the switch.
After your switchover date, we’ll be in touch to ask for a meter reading. We’ll send this meter reading to your old supplier so we can agree on the date at which they’ll stop billing you for your energy, and the date we’ll start. Your old supplier will also use this reading to send you a final bill and close your account.

After you’ve completed these 3 simple steps, we’ll be in touch to let you know once your switchover is complete. In the meantime, you will be able to monitor your switch through the Welcome Tracker in your online account.
