Changing your mind after switching supplier

Changing your mind after switching supplier

If you’ve started the process of switching your energy supplier and have changed your mind, we’ll be delighted to welcome you back. Remember to cancel your contract with the other supplier if you’re still in your cooling off period (usually within 14 days of sign-up). Please check the latest correspondence you received from them to find relevant contact details.

You’ll then need to submit a new application to come back to ScottishPower. To do this, please call us as soon as possible on 0800 027 0404. Lines are open Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. Alternatively, you can sign up here.

Reasons why you’ll love it here

If you need a reminder, here just some of the ways you can make the most of being a ScottishPower customer:

  • Half-Price Weekends

Enjoy half-price electricity* every Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 4pm with Power Saver. Power Saver is all about rewarding our customers for shifting their electricity use to times when there’s less demand on the grid or when there’s more renewable energy available.

Register to take part here (eligibility criteria applies^). Once we’ve emailed to let you know everything’s ready, you can automatically take part in our events including Half-Price Weekends.

  • £10,000 is up for grabs every month

All ScottishPower energy customers with a valid email address will be automatically entered into our monthly Power Play Prize Draw^. Plus, there’s 250 chances to win £50 energy Credit.

  • Share up to £120 credit when you refer a friend

As a ScottishPower energy customer, you can share up to £120 credit when you refer a friend. And with unlimited invites, the more friends you refer, the more credit you earn.

*Electricity used will be charged at your normal unit rate and you will later have your bill credited for the energy you used. The credit is calculated as half of your electricity unit rate (excluding VAT) and will show as ‘Power Saver Credit’ on your bill. Your daily standing charge will be paid at your normal rate.

^To become a Power Saver, you need to be a ScottishPower electricity customer and have a communicating smart meter.
