If you need to disable EV Optimise smart charging, you will not receive the discounted EV Optimise rate. Instead, you will be charged at your normal household tariff electricity rate.
To disable EV Optimise, open the EV Optimise dashboard in the ScottishPower App. In the top right corner, there is a settings icon, which will lead you to a ‘disable smart charging’ button.
If you need to disable EV Optimise smart charging, you will not receive the discounted EV Optimise rate. Instead, you will be charged at your normal household tariff electricity rate.
Please note the car will stay linked to our platform and your car data won’t be removed. You can enable smart charging again at anytime via the EV Optimise dashboard in the ScottishPower App.
We’re sorry that you want to cancel EV Optimise. You can cancel by going to the EV Optimise dashboard in the ScottishPower App. Click ‘settings’ and you will see an option to ‘Cancel EV Optimise’.
If you cancel EV Optimise, you will no longer be able to smart charge your car with EV Optimise. Any charging at home will be billed at your normal tariff rate and you will lose access to your smart charging history. Any outstanding smart charging credit will appear on your next bill.
Changed your mind? You can sign up again at any time by selecting the EV Optimise tile in the ScottishPower App. However, you will need to re-enter your details for our platform to connect to your car.
